  • How much do your cakes cost?

    See the cake styles section for base pricing of each type of cake. Any customizations may cause the price of the cake to increase from the base price.

  • Cake serving size can vary depending on the size of your cake and how large you cut your slices. The following serving amounts are based on 1.5-2” thick slices.

    How many people does a 6” cake serve?

    6” cakes serve up to 10-12 people.

    How many people does an 8” cake serve?

    8” cakes serve up to 16-18 people.

  • How do I store my cake?

    Keep your cake refrigerated and take it out of the fridge about an 1hr before serving so the cake can reach room temperature. Remove the cake from the box once you take it out of fridge so condensation doesn’t form.

    How long can I refrigerate my cake?

    Your cake can be refrigerated up to 5 days before and/or after serving. Make sure you keep your cake in its box so it doesn’t dry out.

    How long can I freeze my cake?

    You can freeze your cake for up to 2 weeks in the freezer before and/or after serving. If you freeze your cake ahead of time, transfer the cake into the refrigerator the night before serving to gradually thaw.

  • Where is your store located?

    We do not have a store front. If you are picking up your cake, our pick-up location is in Brentwood, TN and the address will be provided to you once your order is confirmed.

  • Weekdays - OPEN

    Weekends - CLOSED

    If you need your cake for an occasion over the weekend, pick the Friday beforehand for your pick-up or delivery date. You can refrigerate or freeze your cake leading up to your occasion - See “Cake Care & Serving” above.

GENERAL FAQs

  • I want to customize my cake in more ways than what the order form will allow me.

    There will be a prompt on the order form that asks if you have any additional requests. Make sure to fill that section out with your desired customization. Please advise, additional customizations are subject to price increases.

    If you still feel like the cake isn’t custom enough for you, you may want to look into ordering a one-of-a-kind custom cake. You can submit a custom cake order request here.

    I’m not sure my order went through.

    You’ll know your order went through if you were taken to a “request received” confirmation screen after selecting your pick up/delivery date/time. You will also receive a “booking request” email in your inbox.

    If you did not see the confirmation screen and receive an email, your request was not received. You’ll have to submit a new request.

    I submitted an order request but I’d like to make changes to it.

    No worries! After gathering your order details, we will send a confirmation email. If there’s anything you’d like to change, you can respond to that email with your desired changes.

  • What is your availability?

    Check our availability calendar to see if your desired date is available.

    Why isn’t my desired date available?

    If your date is unavailable, it’s either because we are fully booked or it’s a weekend date (we are closed on the weekends).

    PRO TIP: If your desired pickup/delivery date(s) is unavailable, you can choose an earlier date and refrigerate or freeze the cake up until serving - See “Cake Care & Serving” under the general FAQs.

    Why won’t the booking form allow me to make an order for tomorrow?

    Orders must be placed at least a week in advance. Custom cake orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance. We do not accept rush orders.

  • How do I know if my order is confirmed?

    Once we receive your order, we will gather your details and send you an invoice with a payment link. Your order will be confirmed once you complete payment. We will also send you a confirmation email.

    I want to make changes to an existing, confirmed order.

    While we are happy to make changes, we cannot guarantee all changes, especially if it’s last minute. Please email info@andshebakesnashville.com to request a change to your confirmed order.

ORDERING

  • Is there a fee to pick up my cake?

    It is free to pick up your cake.

    How do I know where to pick up my cake?

    The pick up address will be given to you once your cake order is confirmed. Our pickup location is in Brentwood, TN.

    How do I safely transport my cake after picking it up?

    When transporting your cake, keep the cake level and cool. I recommend setting the cake on the passenger side floor board with the air conditioning on so the cake doesn’t get hot.

  • What is your delivery radius?

    We deliver within a 20mi radius from Brentwood, TN.

    What is your delivery fee?

    The delivery fee is $20.

    When can I expect my delivery?

    We deliver within a 2 hour window from your selected delivery time, i.e. if you choose 10am for your delivery, we will deliver between 10am and 12pm.

    What happens if I miss the delivery?

    If there is a failed delivery attempt, we will take the cake back with us. You may then pick up the cake up from our location in Brentwood, TN free of charge, or pay a $20 re-delivery fee. Re-delivery is subject to availability.

    Our products do not contain peanuts or tree nuts, however, we do not guarantee that any of our raw ingredients have not come into contact with these allergens. Please proceed at your own risk.

  • Can you do a gluten free cake?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer gluten free cakes. Please keep checking in with us, though. We’d love to accommodate our GF friends one day!

    Can you do a vegan cake?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer vegan cakes. Please keep checking in with us, though. We’d love to accommodate our vegan friends one day!

  • What do I do if my cake got damaged?

    We are not responsible for any damages to your cake after you’ve picked up your cake, or after the cake has been delivered.

  • I submitted an order request but I’d like to cancel it.

    We understand that things change. Once your order request is approved, we will send a confirmation email with your order details. You can simply respond to that email that you’d like to cancel your order.

    I want to cancel a confirmed order that I have already paid for.

    Orders cancelled up to 1 week (including weekends) before the scheduled pick up/delivery date will receive a full refund.

    Orders cancelled within 1 week (including weekends) of the scheduled pick up/delivery date will receive a 50% refund.

    Orders cancelled within 3 days (including weekends) of your scheduled pickup / delivery date will be not be eligible for a refund.

  • All cakes must be paid for upfront. Your order is not confirmed, and will not be made until payment is complete. Failure to complete payment before the deadline listed on your invoice will result in your order being cancelled.

    Completing your payment confirms your understanding of our policies.

    A 4% processing fee is added to all orders.
