DISPLAY TIPS
-
Buttercream desserts can typically be displayed for 4–5 hours in a cool, indoor environment.
As buttercream warms, it becomes softer, sometimes causing cakes with looser fillings to bulge slightly over time.
If your order won't be served within a couple hours, return it to the refrigerator until you're ready to enjoy it.
-
Outdoor display depends on both temperature and sunlight.
75°F (24°C) or cooler: Outdoor display is generally okay for short periods if your order remains in the shade.
Above 75°F (24°C): Not recommend. Outdoor display at these temperatures can be possible for veryshort periods. Buttercream and chocolate can begin to melt at these temperatures, making outdoor display less reliable.
Direct sunlight: Always avoid direct sunlight, regardless of the temperature, as it can quickly soften buttercream and melt chocolate.
For the best results with an outdoor display, keep your order indoors until you're ready to serve it.
-
Your cake is secured to its own cake drum, which sits inside the box for transport. When you're ready to display your order, remove the box lid and carefully lift the cake by the cake drum and place it directly onto your cake stand or serving platter.
Cupcakes and cakesicles can be displayed either in their boxes or removed and displayed to your liking.
-
Choose a clean, sturdy, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, open windows, and high-traffic areas where your order could be bumped or knocked over.
